Chademo charger flap not opening on a Mitsubishi i-Miev, Peugeot iOn or Citroen C-Zero

A common problem on the Peugeot iOn (or Citroen C-Zero or Mitsubishi i-Miev) is the filler cap/flap on the Chademo DC rapid charger port stops opening. This is simply caused by the cable becoming detached from the lever beside the driver's seat.

You can pull back the carpet and re-attach the cable into the lug on the back of the lever. This can be done with simply your fingers, but it is easier with a pair of long nose pliers.
