Many are worried about their EV battery life. The reality is that for the majority of EVs, the battery degrades about only 1% per year or around 3% per year in Nissan Leaf and ENV200 vehicles. If you have a Renault Zoe or Renault Kangoo EV with a leased battery pack, you get a battery health guarantee and its RCI's responsibility to repair or replace the back once the battery has dropped below that threshold (which is normally 75% SoH on the Zoe & Kangoo 33kWh, but only 60% on the Kangoo 22kWh). Or maybe you're considering buying the battery and doing away with the lease, but want to know if your pack is worth buying? The trouble is, how do you know what the health of your battery is? If you ask your local Renault dealer, they will want a diagnostic fee which is typically £150-£200. Plus you'll loose your car for a day. Or you can do it yourself with the CanZE phone app, but this also requires a bluetooth dongle and an Android phone and if you're not too techie, you can waste hours with trying to get this to work or have trouble buying the correct compatible dongle.

How it works?
We send you a diagnostic scanner and provide simple video instructions on how to use it and read the battery state of health on your Renault EV.
Once you've done this, you package the scanner back up and then we arrange collection by courier, or if easier for you, drop it off at the courier's local drop off points.
You pay a fixed fee of £96 including VAT, which is payable by bank transfer before delivery. You can only keep the scanner for up to 3 days. You will need a printer to print the return label.
We also provide you with the information as to what to do next if your battery pack health is low.
